Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on all machinery, detect failing equipment, troubleshoot, repair and set up all equipment.

  • Work with 110V, 220V, 480V power

  • Support all electrical functions of the plant

  • Oversee all electrical issues of the plant

  • Work with 110V, 220V, 480V power

  • Be able to use the following tools: hand tools, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding equipment.

  • Fabricate parts as needed

  • Troubleshooting skills in digital & analog AC/DC drives

  • Knowledgeable of PLC’s

  • Understanding of relay logic

  • General plant maintenance as needed

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area

  • ISO documents for job level

  • Abide by all safety rules and procedures

  • Any other duties assigned by Supervisor or Manager Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Prior industrial electrician experience required. Journeyman’s license desired. Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to read the following schematics: mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical functions. Use of electrical test equipment. Able to comply with MN electrical rules and policies. Physical Demands: Lifting and moving equipment/materials. Standing, bending, and kneeling. Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses, ear plugs, safety shoes, PPE, Arc Flash PPE Work Environment: Ability to work in hot and cold environments. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to work on the roof, silos, and tower. Must be able to work in and around all types of machinery and electrical panels.
