Responsibilities
Responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment, buildings and grounds.
Responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance on all production equipment according to maintenance plans and as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Perform emergency repairs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in evaluating and troubleshooting all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic machinery and equipment.
Daily report to the Maintenance Supervisor about spare parts used so that the Maintenance Supervisor can update the inventory.
Assist in test running injection molding and decoration machines as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsible for returning the production area to its orderly condition after every repair.
Provide information to the Maintenance Supervisor to help identify and develop equipment improvements.
Effectively communicate will all shift and plant personnel.
Be familiar with and follow all ISO and SQF Procedures/Instructions related to your work.
Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks in compliance with all ISO and SQF Quality System requirements.
Perform other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor to promote overall plant effectiveness.
Qualifications
Previous machine maintenance experience
Working knowledge of ISO and SQF
Working knowledge of CSBs i.e. LOTO ect
Medium work: up to 50 lbs of force occassionally, 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly to move objects
Repetitive motion
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing.
