Purpose:
Manage the work for all Maintenance Technicians insuring timely CM’s and PM’s to drive improvement in our overall plant efficiencies
Responsibilities
Direct and manage the Maintenance Technicians in Dallas, TX
Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines
Improve machine up time by ensuring all CM’s and PM’s are properly performed and documented in Avante
Maintain facility by ensuring daily walks are completed and other requirements per the Facilities Engineer
Oversee spare parts inventory
Research and purchase parts as needed for machine break downs and/or spare parts replacement
Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts
Drive 5S workplace organization in the maintenance area and support the initiative throughout the manufacturing and warehousing operations
Work closely with Production, Warehouse and Engineering to create a team atmosphere
Communicate daily with the Plant Manager and Warehouse Manager to develop a daily list of priorities for the maintenance team
Make recommendations for improvement in the equipment and facilities
Qualifications
Good math skills
Good English language skills
Welding skills
Good communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems
Advanced manufacturing mechanical experience
Prior experience managing in a manufacturing environment
Advanced manufacturing controls and wiring experience
Basic understanding of motor controls and ability to read wiring diagrams
Proficient in MS Office / Computer
No fear of heights
