As a Packer Operator / Machine Operator, you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills and experience in a fast paced, clean manufacturing faclity. We offer paid training, career growth and stable work schedules. Experienced and entry level candidates are encouraged to apply.

New starting rate of $18.00/hr for day shift; 6am-6pm. 4 day/3 day work week. Every other 3 day weekend off.

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for monitoring machine output, inspecting and packing product in accordance with customer specifications.

Some of the job duties include:

  • Having a Safety First mindset!

  • Understanding the products we make. Knowing what each product does helps us identify possible defects.

  • Verifying the orders we are running are accurate according to the production schedule.

  • Performing visual inspections at the beginning of each shift and at intervals throughout your shift. Notifying a team member if defects are found is critical so they can be corrected.

  • Keeping accurate documentation in the computer.

  • Assisting other team members in keeping the hoppers supplied with parts.

  • Proper packaging and handling of each order per the customer requirements.

  • Accurately recording scrap and placing the scrap in the proper containers.

  • Assisting in the performance of machine startups, shutdowns and line clearances, and keeping machine downtime to a minimum.

  • Keeping your work area clean at all times!

  • Following applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Interested applicants should have the following qualifications:

  • Good hand/eye coordination or general comfort working around moving parts/machinery.

  • Ability to work under direct supervision and to follow verbal or written instructions and techniques.

  • Ability to be trained on computer systems.

  • Previous manufacturing experience is helpful!

  • Ability to work as part of a team!

  • Ability to work in a safe manner.
